The .lua files are not intended for using in MetaTrader. They can only be used in Marketscope.
You can try to put a request for developers to convert a .lua file to .mq4 that can be used in MetaTrader.

alert is loading with an error message.

Please make sure that you have installed the 2 MA Alert.lua indicator before applying the signal.
If the problem persists, please provide the exact error message you are receiving.

When I try to load the Alert_ - the OK button is not enabled and I cannot click it, so the Alert will not load into MarketScope? Any ideas on what to do?

Compatibility issue fixed.
_Alert Helper is not longer needed.
