Simple Moving Average of 1 bar

Postby Kactassem » Mon Sep 06, 2010 11:20 am

Hi guys,

I am trying to plot on top of my Candlestick chart a Simple Moving Average with 1 Number of Periods but I get this error message :

" The input value is incorret. The value must be in the range from 2 to 10000. "

Could somebody code it so that I can input 1 has my Number of Periods ?

Thanks

ng: post moved.

After the last, Aug 27 2010 update, the Moving average can be applied on 1 bar. Have you installed the last update?

The TS version on the snapshot above is 1.09.082610.

Hm... as far as I know a couple of brokers didn't provide the latest update, so just ask their customer support to do it.

While you didn't update, you can follow the recommendations in this post how to create MVA indicator which can be applied to 1-bar
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1525#p2981

BTW, if you are still using the old version, please be careful with using new indicator and strategies. Most of them aren't compatible with the old version.
