Elements of an Indicator

Postby nazaar » Wed Sep 19, 2012 5:24 pm

Hello,

is there an article or tutorials on the basic required elements of an indicator?

And is there a dictionary that explains some of the terms used in the indicator codes? For example, what does parameters block, streams block, routine, local, function prepare and instance.source mean?

Finally, what does the following initials stand for:
SP, CP;
CC, CS,TC, TS, SC, SS;
SW,TW, CW;

Thanks very much.

This is not the place to learn Lue.
These are the basics of programming in lua.
As I said, you have to be systematic in your learning proces.
My recommendation is to start with the basics of Lua,
try with ebook Programming in Lua by Roberto Ierusalimschy .

BTW, SP, CP, CC, CS, TC, TS, SC, SS, SW, TW, CW, variables to store data temporarily.

Also, install the SDK, there you'll find described specifics of programming for the MarketScope chartig platform, structure of indicators and strategies.
