What are the differences between these three trading programs, and what language do each of them incorporate? ive been looking for answers all day. Also, which one do you prefer for people using mechanical trading mechanisms and why?

About languages for developing indicators\strategis:
Metatrader - MQL(Developed special for MT)
Trading Station - Lua(Very popular scripting language. For example World of Warcraft using Lua).

IMHO Trading Station is more comfortable for mechanical trading cause it has a lot of special futures for this. For example its a One\Double click trading mode. With this function you can place your order by one click.

Additionaly I want to say that Trading Station updates much more frequently and adds new features in each update.

We are developers here rather than the traders. So, we need to check what does trading blox do first. If you could point our attention on the most important functionality, it will greatly help us to provide alternative or develop better solution in the Trading Station II.
