EA in mt4 or Strategy in Marketscope

Hello,

I am fairly new to market scope, I have done some programming with MT4, but nothing that I have ever used. I am looking into automating some of my order management, and not sure which program to go with. Can any one explain the pros and cons of each platform, both being used with fxcm micro? Also I am told that internet disconnection is a problem with mt4 when having EAs run. Why is that and how do strategies in marketscope compare when internet disconnects.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hm, MT4.
You gotta love it or hate it.
I am in second group.

It has a large number of for Trading function.
This simplifies strategies programming.

Shortcomings, the worst debuger I have ever seen.
Limit Just in time compiler.
For example, you can have only 8 output streams.
MarketScope do not have limit.

MT4 syntax and my brain are not compatible.

The absence of a large number of trading functions.
a good programmer can overcome this disadvantage.
Excellent debuger, simpler syntax, at least for me.
compared to MT4, MarketScope has fewer limitations.

In a case of internet disconnect, your TS won't be receiving prices' updates and all strategies will stop working. After the connection is restored, your strategy will start working automatically.
