helper.lua script does not recognize typical price stream

Postby tllewell » Fri Jan 11, 2013 5:50 pm

I tried to build a strategy with a price stream set to the typical set or prices and I got an error that the helper.lua script didn't recognize it. I can see that I probably should be leaving the ExtSubscribe statement left on "bar" prices and specify the stream in other statements. However, I still would like to use the typical price stream. Is there any problem with adding this and the other valid tick streams to the helper.lua script?

If you want an example of what I'm trying to get at, if, for instance I want to create an MVA indicator with typical prices rather than close prices.

Thanks for the offer, Apprentice. I was trying to set up a tick stream of typical prices in a strategy, which is not what I actually needed to do. I have it resolved now. Using indicators with typical price streams works just fine.
