Search is ignoring...

Sometimes when I am searching for stuff I notice that Search module just ignores keywords and I was wondering if there is something you can do to make the Search more "free", more loose.
I attached an example. I typed in "t3 cross" and the search ignored the word T3 which was crucial when searching for a specific key and to avoid all other crosses.
It is very annoying since I really do not want to go through 1000+ posts. I am sure that instead I would have gotten just 10 or 50 on the topic "t3 cross" and not just "cross".
Can you change/improve that?
