How to project targets for exiting?

Hello,

How to determine our targets? One way could be to look at the candlestick.

If we are in an uptrend, we look at previous green candle. We enter on the break of closing price. Target is the distance between previous green candle's opening and closing price.
We take that distance and project upwards from break of closing price.

If we are in a downtrend, we look at previous red candle. We enter on the break of closing price.
Target is the distance between previous red candle's opening and closing price.
We take that distance and project downwards from break of closing price.
