Signal / Alert in Excel?

Is it possible to have a Excel cell populate based on the pop-up box from a strategy alert?
Say you have a spreadsheet with asset names. When a strategy generate an alert, get the asset name and time along with the custom text from the alert box and put it into a chosen Excel cell. A macro to copy/paste the values best way of doing this?
