Adaptable RSI Indicator with an Adaptable Multiple MA

Postby Marianayagam » Sat Jan 20, 2018 10:49 am

For TRADE STATION:
Would like an Adaptable RSI Indicator with AT LEAST TWO ADAPTABLE MOVING AVERAGES superimposed on the RSI. Also, the choice to add percentage lines(and the option to choose the color of the lines) on the RSI - That is: The RSI indicator usually comes with just two lines, one to indicate the overbought level(usually 70%) and the other to indicate the oversold level(usually 30%). I would like the choice to add more lines to indicate 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%, and the choice to choose the line color.
Note:
If developed, this indicator will be similar to the RSI MA Crossover indicator which is already on fxcodebase. The fxcodebase, also, already has an Adaptable RSI indicator.

Summary:
What I am requesting for is an Adaptable RSI Indicator with Multiple Adaptable Moving Averages( 4 Moving Averages) superimposed on it plus the choice to add percentage lines and the option to choose the color of the Moving Average lines as well as the Percentage lines, for Trade Station.
The purpose of the indicator: To see RSI crossing over or under multiple moving averages

Thanking you in advance.
Sincerely,
Merryl

Was able to download and install ADAPTABLE MOVING AVERAGE RSI. But was unable to get it work. The following Message pops up when I try to add the indicator to my chart:
" Moving average RSI.lua.106. Please download and install AMA LUA indicator "

When I attempt to download the AMA.bin file the following error message appears.
" Impossible to import the selected file. The file is damaged or in the unsupported format ".

I am wondering if the AMA file should be in " lua " format as opposed to being in " bin " format.

Sincerely,
Merryl

I tried to download both the files again but was not successful.
I am still getting the same error message when trying to download AMA.bin file.

Just to clarify, the Indicator that I want improved is RSI_MA Indicator, which can be found on page 2 of fxcodebase's CUSTOM INDICATORS. Please see below.

RSI_MA indicator

Indicator is a combination of RSI and moving average.

Formulas:
RSI=RSI(EMA(Price)) and MA_RSI=EMA(RSI).

Thanking you in advance.

Hi,
The Adaptable Moving Average RSI Indicator is now working.

I was finally able to downloaded the AMA.bin file without getting the " Impossible to import the selected file. The file is damaged or in the unsupported format " message.

I am super happy to say that it is working. Thank you ever so much.

I do have a request though, and that is, I would like to have the choice to select the moving averages used on the RSI. For example, Andrew Cardwell, the RSI guru, uses a 9 Period Simple Moving Average and a 45 Period Weighted Moving Average on his charts as well as his RSI (Please see video link below).

I personally prefer using 9 period Exponential Moving Average and 45 period Weighted Moving Average.

Thanking you in advance.

Sincerely,
Merryl
