Trend Duration

Hi,

I have an idea for an indicator. Forgive me if this has already been posted.

Indicator would visually show (in an area below the chart) the number of periods for which price has consecutively closed above or below a moving average (ema). EMA settings and period settings are user defined.

Let me know if this is of any interest.
