Hi, Apprentice and the new update have made a great difference thanks
As well as the SSD levels being different the entry conditions are and different t-frame, On the breakout we wait for the breakout, on the false breakout we don’t need to wait for breakout as the condition is met doing false breakout and we can get in the trade much earlier as per screenshot it never broke to downside and would have not got a signal to trade short
P.S same SSD conditions needs
ZigZag False Breakout parameters
K line needs to be above the D line at 20% or lower % on SSD for longs
K line needs to be below the D line at 80% or higher % on SSD for shorts
Sorry for got to mention in previous post
Also would need a separate time frame for false breakout

Are you able to add the false breakout condition as per last post and can you please look into the the strategy as alerts are not coming at point of the breakout or not coming at all as per screenshot breakout and conditions met at 6.30 signal was generated at 6.37 7mins later pls can you fix

Hi Apprentice, as per private message asking me to re-post can you add to the current Zigzag Breakout the False Breakout as both strategy are trend continuations. Would need separate parameters setting for the bump up SSD (15min chart using 1Hr) would also have its own timeframe (not same as on Zigzag Breakout)

ZigZag False Breakout parameters
K line needs to be above the D line at 20% or lower % on SSD for longs
K line needs to be below the D line at 80% or higher % on SSD for shorts

As per screenshot were price passes past previous zigzag high and closes back in current structure and conditions meet on the bumped up SSD and the volume price change signal to be created on the close of the candle inside current structure

The current version of ZigZag Breakout doing exactly that.

Hi Apprentice,
In the previous screen shot was poor example as the false breakout candle closed at the bottom of the structure in screen shot below shows the better example price wicked out of previous zigzag high structure then closed inside structure, letting us be in the trade b4 breakout to the downside and if we entered on the close breakout candle would have been in loss.

ZigZag False Breakout parameters
Own Timeframe
EMA (Filter to be added to both strategy)
VPC to chart timeframe
Bump up SSD data (5min chart using 15min data)
K line needs to be above the D line at 20% or lower % on SSD for longs
K line needs to be below the D line at 80% or higher % on SSD for shorts
And would you be able to add a separate MA filter to the both strategy’s.
For the price needs to below MA (filter) for short Breakout & False Breakout
For the price needs to above MA (filter) for long Breakout & False Breakout

If I've understood you correctly it's not possible. You ask to open a trade on a breakout but on the candle before the breakout.

It’s not using the rules for the breakout so you not entering prior or the breakout the false breakout has its own rules and parameters its more of a “Breakin to current Zigzag Structure” and conditions meet or would need to do a separate strategy

Are you able to add the false breakout to the current Zigzag Breakout Strategy if not can you code new strategy for the false breakout as per rules posted 14.6.19 pls would be better if both can be combined
