Persistent Breakout and Range Strategy Request MT4

Now this version won't even load onto my chart. I get the message "Cannot open file" in the Experts Tab.

All other versions still load fine, and the versions you posted on Aug 26 and Sept 12 still work fine.

It's just this latest version, with the separate Stop and TP levels, that is being difficult.

Hope this isn't getting too frustrating for you. Not sure what could be different about my MT4 account that makes this version not work.

OK. Loaded latest version. Now it loads onto the chart, but it's just like before - No Stop or TP (Both show 0.00000). Setup is same as the pic I attached earlier.

The Experts Tab says: "Error setting SL/TP: Invalid stop loss or take profit in the request"

Your previous post said you need logs "added in the new version" - Not sure what this is, but there aren't any logs that I can see other than the Experts and Journal tabs.

OK. This version sets the entry points above and below, sets the SL and TP. So far so good.

However, it doesn't replace the stopped out order at the custom SL. It only replaces it at the opposing Entry.

EUR/USD Example:

Market at 1.00050. Buy Entry X at 5.0 pips above (1.00100), Sell Entry Y at 5.0 pips below (1.00000). Custom SL of 5 pips, so at 1.00050 for each.

Price hits 1.00100 for Buy Entry, retreats to 1.00050 for stop out. It should now re-enter the original buy order at 5.0 pips above (1.00100 or close to it as the market is moving). Instead, it's not entering anything so if the market moves up from there, the move gets missed. Currently it only re-enters the Buy Order if the Sell order at 1.00000 gets hit.

So it's getting close. Apologies again. I'm beginning to think that what I'm asking may be a completely different Strategy than the original. Sorry to be taking up so much time.
