time retracement

Postby lello1231 » Mon Apr 19, 2010 1:46 pm

Hello ,

Is it possible to develop a time retracement tool ,Same concept as Fibonacci price retracement tool , but used for time instead of price.. so instead of having lines horizontally, they will be vertically (0.382 ,0.5,0.618 ... and some user level ratio inputs possibility..).

Example :
let's say we measure a swing from point A to B ,time from A to B is 100% .
then from point B towards the future , vertical lines will be added ( 38.2% of time A to B , 50% of time A to B , etc...)

Hello,

Fibonacci time zone projects levels based on Fibonacci sequence numbers , 1,2,3,5 ... In other words
if we have a swing from A(level0) to B (level1) , level 2 will be 200% of time (A,B) projected from A , level 3 will be 300% of time (A,B ) projected from A based on Fibonacci number sequence .

What i am asking , if we can include , 0.382 ,0.5, 0.618 ,1.618 level also of time (A,B) projected from B, or in other terms include 138.2% , 150% , 161.8%, 261.8% levels projected from A (levels 0).

This is the same. :-)

Read, for example, here:
http://prosignal.net/Manual/Part7-Fibon ... alysis.htm

The percentage level presentation is more convenient for prices, the number presentation - for periods, because the periods can not be divided "into parts", for example you can't get 0,382 of bar's time.

I am asking for the same indicator,
is it possible to round off the periods?
As in timeA to timeB measures 100 periods.
Time Zone Projections from B in fibonacci ratios 38Periods(0.382), 50Periods(0.5), 62Periods(0.618), 76Periods(0.762). etc

I am looking for the same indicator,
is it possible to round off the periods?

E.g. Measurements from TimeA to TimeB 150 periods
Time cycle projections from TimeB would be 57(0.382) ,75(0.5), 93(0.618), 114(0.762) periods etc.

The link below explains the time cycle projection tool if its hard to understand:
