mq5 indicator to mq4 request

Hi would it please be possible to convert this mq5 indicator: MaFromMa & MaFromMaVisual to mq4.

It will likely need the mq4 version of iCanvas.mqh from the author, the link below for 3DMa.mq4 already has an mq4 version of iCanvas.mqh that should work for a newly converted MaFromMa & MaFromMaVisual in mt4.

Also would it be possible to add a positive shift in the indicator, meaning it would shift forward +1 bars, +2 bars etc. The current shift backwards is for -798, perhaps have a positive shift of +100 (or even +798) in the indicator settings. Then the scroll window would allow the user to project the indicator forward.

And if possible could this positive shift also be added to the existing mq5 version of MaFromMa & MaFromMaVisual as well.

Hi Apprentice, thank you very much for posting the mq4 MaFromMa & MaFromMaVisual indicators.

I realize now that there is a setting in the input box for a forward shift so please disregard what I previously said about a positive shift in the mq4 & mq5 version.

When I load the 2x indicators they seem a bit slow to load in my MT4 terminal & once loaded, when I try to change the settings on the screen box by sliding the settings (such as Period1, Period2, N & Shift), I can slide the settings, but the MaFromMa doesn’t update and change the moving average line on the chart in real time (like it does successfully in the original mq5 version).

Is there a way to make the MaFromMa moving average line update on the chart in real time, when you slide the different settings in the settings box? (like how the mq5 version successfully does).

I have been using the mq4 version of iCanvas.mqh from the 3DMa webpage, that I previously uploaded, is this what you have used also? https://www.mql5.com/en/code/24795

Hi Apprentice. Can the indicators please update the chart offline when the user adjusts or slides the dial settings, not just only update on every new tick from the trade server

At the moment the MaFromMa line is a bit slow to respond in reflecting the changes made when you adjust the dial settings

The original mq5 version updates almost instantly when you adjust the dial settings, not just only on every new live tick. It updates changes to the dial settings whether it is connected to the trader server or not.

I didn't manage to find any way to make the indicator recalc in a safe way.
Either it works like it works now or just freezes when you move the scroll.
