Stochastic oscillator with enhancement on the data source

You are doing some nice job here. May i suggest an enhancement :

I noticed some of the indicators can take every data source available (eg history, or another indicator installed on the chart) and some others only history, like the stochastic oscillator.

I don't know for the others, but for me, having this ability on the stochastic oscillator would be extremely useful, to study the oscillation of a moving average instead of the raw price for example, or even another oscillator.

I think it's pretty easy to modify in the code but i don't know how.

If someone could do this, it would be great.

It's easy to do on smoothed prices. I added the indicator to the dev. queue.

But I'm not sure whether stochastic will work well on oscillator/indicator's result, because stochastic requires bars when oscillator/indicators usually produces the plain number sequence which looks rather as ticks.

Hi,

i understand your point. But for example right now i use the stochrsi (which is very near of stochastic) on others indicators or oscillators and it gets me the results i want. Of course the results seems choppy but i interpret them in a different way than the classic way with the price.
