When do you plan to include tick based charts in the Trading station ? I mean a candle raised after a certain amount of ticks is reached which is different than the time based candles. http://emini-watch.com/emini-trading/tick-charts/

Hi Nookie - tick based charts are available on the current beta - please, where is the problem?
I think that to display the "ticks" as a candle really does defeat the object and would invoke a considerable amount of confusion...

Hi, I have sent a request to the developers.
Nikolay promised me that this functionality will be added,
when some of the technical conditions are met.

Byte-code interpreter and JIT compiler is an alternative implementation of Lua VM made by luajit.org. Byte-code interpreter is faster 10-15% and JIT is faster 20-50% for the indicators and strategies which performs a lot of calculations inside the Lua code (such as JSmooth moving average).
...

May I add that by changing Lua Virtual Machine Type to Byte-code interpreter or JIT, I got different results on some backtests - freaked me out until I figured that this was the reason.

Quite interesting. Could you please give me an example (strategy, data range, parameters), I'll take a look.

Trading Station/Marketscope 2011 III Beta

Postby Artemamr » Wed Jul 24, 2013 5:07 pm

Ive installed the beta but i cannot update it. The update windows pops up but there is no progress on the bar, it stops at the beginning.
Then, i tried to install v9.4.130, which is the current latest release version, but i cant update that too.
If i can recall correctly, i could update the first beta of MP4. Unfortunately, i didnt test the rest beta versions.
What logs do you want me to collect? Is a logcat enough?
