Omega Tradstation (8,9,2000i) connectivity?

Postby chimpy » Tue Oct 09, 2018 8:23 pm

Is there an easy way to pull live data in from FXCM into Omega Tradestaion and/or execute orders?
I ask as Omega Tradestation has a large market share and decades worth of indicators written for the platform in the *.ELD format.

Among the ForexConnect API, ForexConnect-Python API, Order2Go and Price History API sections of the forum I was not sure the best place to post this question so please move it if necessary.

Thanks

It depends on API Omega provides for integration with external services.
There is no problem to export price data/order commands via Forex Connect.

Are you aware of this open source Java DDE server project http://jdde.pretty-tools.com/examples.php
Please someone have a look at the examples. How easy would this of the shelf DDE server be to connect to the Forexconnect API?
That way any DDE enabled application could make use of it, including Excel, and Multicharts
