Leverage Profile ID ?

Postby Bebbspoke » Tue Mar 01, 2016 10:55 am

Hi Peoples; -

I received the questions below from my programmer which are way beyond my understanding to answer; -

In fxcore2 there's a class called O2GAccountRow which has a member called LeverageProfileID which, unless I'm mistaken, is the only thing in fxcore2 that refers to leverage.

For my demo account, this returns a string containing "1075". Is it possible to derive the actual leverage level (1:1, 10:1, 100:1, etc) from this number and, if so, how?

Or must I make an assumption of the account's leverage and manually input this into the program?

Or must the actual leverage for a trade be derived on a trade-by-trade basis from another source of information? If so, what should I use/do to calculate leverage?

Please could someone experienced in such matters supply the correct answer(s).

Many thanks,

Bebbspoke

Hello Bebbspoke,

Unfortunately, as of now, ForexConnect does not allow to do this. We have added this request to our wish-list and will consider implementing it in one of the upcoming releases.
And I have answered you via private message.
