FXCodeBase.COM: Forex Chart Indicators and Development

Hi there,

factory.createMarketDataSnapshotReader(response); triggers AV while receiving "USD/HKD" historical price: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt".
The rest of the instruments are fine.

This started happening just recently.
Have something been changed on the server side?

We cannot reproduce this problem. If it is possible, please specify the following data: FC version, the using timeframe, using language of programming. For sufficient information, please send a code of creating request too.

ForexConnect.dll 1.2.1209.2015
1 day/month/week time frames.
It started happening just recently, I had to switch USD/HKD instrument off. Unfortunately I could not handle it as AV was taking place inside ForexcConnect.dll.

Is there any way you guys can look by RequestId at how the request had been processed in the server side?

Hi Anton,

According to your snapshots this problem is in FC. We can’t manage to reproduce it and continue to investigate further.
It would be helpful if you send the foreconnect log.

To get the log you need to follow the instruction below:

1. Copy the log settings file (in the attached zip file) "forexconnect.log4plus.properties" to the folder where the forexconnect-based program is installed.

2. In the same folder, create the "log" subfolder.

3. Run the program and try to reproduce the error.

4. Archive the "log" folder (created on step 2). This can be done using command Windows Explorer Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder or any other method of your choice. Send me this archive at ycherepanova@gehtsoft.com.

this problem can be reproduced on the real account only.
I do not have any problems getting USD/HKD when I use demo account.

If we upload for you the personal ForexConnect version with extended log tomorrow, could you please install it and send the log to my e-mail: ycherepanova@gehtsoft.com.
These days we can not reproduce the issue.
