Cross Platform with Xamarin

Hey All,

I'm building an application for my investment group to work cross platform, Windows, Android and Mac. Therefor I'm using Xamarin and am attempting to add the fxcore2.dll to my project, however it targets .net framework 4.5 and not .net core and I am fairly certain it is not implemented as a Portable Class Library.

That said, I need to get access to the documentation that explains connecting to the socket server or access to an implementation in PCL supporting Windows UWP, Android and iOS.
