Request for Ichimoku Strategy with Moving average cross

Postby rippajohn » Tue Oct 03, 2017 5:51 am

Hi there,

Can i request an strategty with the following rules:
Ichimoku cloud, with 3 moving averages.

When price and MA below cloud, and price breaks (UP)the three moving averages by a user defined amount of pips, 2 x long position entered. Stop set to user defined amount of pips.

When price and MA above cloud, and price breaks (DOWN)the three moving averages by a user defined amount of pips, 2 x short positions are entered. Stop set to user defined amount of pips.

Can it also have email alerts when a position is entered, and when a stop is triggered.

Thanks!

Hi there, not sure if we I should post backtest results on this Strategy, but here is a swing trading strategy, using the 4hr chart on AUSUSD.

Two Questions

Can you add another condition on to the strategy, to have an option to a setup only being valid, if above a moving average on another timeframe, or below it?

Say I have a 4hr strategy, and only want to take short trades when price is below the 20ema on the daily, or weekly, and long trades when price is above the 20ema daily/weekly?

Question 2, with the trailing stop, is there a way to put an option of how many pips the trailing stop is? Currently there is just an option of yes or no, and im not sure if there is a way to modify the setting?

Thanks!

I have tried this strategy but I got Buy and sell signals even if all three rules is not fulfilled.
Anyone else that have this problem?
