Programming Virgin

Postby P kenny » Tue Nov 29, 2022 8:58 am

Coding Virgin needs HELP.
I am a retired design engineer, who has been trading for a few years with little success. As far as computers and programming are concerned.
They are the DEVIL & I know SFA !

I have had enough of back testing new trading ideas by hand going back years, hand writing to see if my latest Idea works...
I was always told try yourself 3 times before asking for help.
So i want to have a go at programming myself first. but where to start.
I have FXCM Marketscope 2 .
Can anyone help and point me in the right direction of how i should approach this daunting (too me ) task..

Any help will be gratefully recieved.
Thanks Paul

Hi from Croatia
First, download the SDK
https://fxcodebase.com/documentation.php
It contains a library of all concepts and functions, an editor, and a debugger.
True, I don't use the SDK editor or debugger, I prefer Notepad ++ and Trading station for debugging.
I am here to help if you will have any questions.
Plus, Back in the day, I held private paid webinars about SDK.
